EC9-B

Looking for a Mezz EC9-B pool cue built around the natural character of exotic wood? The EC9-B uses Bocote for both the forearm and butt sleeve, accented by silver ring details. It is part of Mezz’s EC9 Series, a line that emphasizes the natural beauty of exotic woods with a clean, understated cue design.

The EC9-B comes with Mezz’s WX-Σ Sigma shaft, measuring 29 inches with a 12.5mm tip, XJ Powerplate tip end, and Kamui S tip. The butt is also 29 inches, with an Irish linen grip, United joint, and a manufacturer-listed weight range of 19.0–19.5 oz. This gives players a complete playing-cue setup built around Mezz’s Sigma shaft and United joint.

For players comparing Mezz pool cues, the EC9-B stands out through its Bocote construction. Rather than relying on elaborate inlay work, the design lets the natural wood character remain the focus, complemented by the EC9’s silver ring detailing. Mezz positions the WX-Σ as a straight pro-taper shaft designed to reduce deflection while supporting accurate cue-ball control.
