If you’re specifically looking for a Predator 314-3 shaft Uni-Loc QR thin black collar 30“ version, this is the exact fit you need. This fully finished, ready-to-install shaft is machined for Predator’s Uni-Loc Quick-Release Joint, finished with a thin black collar and built in a 30″ length for players who prefer a slightly longer reach than the standard 29″.
Why the Predator 314-3 Shaft Uni-Loc QR Thin Black Collar 30″ Version Is Predator’s Most Versatile Build
The 314-3 low deflection shaft is the all-around athlete of Predator’s entire lineup — the most forgiving shaft in the range, while still delivering serious, competition-level accuracy. Its Pro taper is the preferred choice of countless champions, and it’s more accurate today than earlier generations of the same design. It’s the best pick if you play multiple disciplines (9-ball, 8-ball, straight pool) and want one versatile shaft in your cue bag rather than switching between specialized setups.
In terms of feel, the 314-3 sits right in the middle of Predator’s lineup — stiffer than the Z-3, but not as stiff as the Vantage. Combined with the Uni-Loc QR joint, it gives you the flexibility to switch between multiple cue butts quickly and securely, while the 30″ length offers a more comfortable extension for taller players or those with a longer natural stroke.
