AVT-WLA/U (United)

Looking for a Mezz AVANT cue butt with a United joint and a clean no-wrap design? The Mezz AVT-WLA/U is part of the AVT Series and combines black composite wood with Light Blue Dragon Juma detailing. It is designed for players who want to build a more personalized Mezz pool cue setup around their preferred shaft and playing characteristics.

The AVT-WLA/U measures 29 inches and weighs approximately 15 oz (435 g). It uses a United joint, no-wrap grip, and Mezz’s X-Bumper. The butt sleeve is finished in black composite wood with Light Blue Dragon Juma inlays, giving this version a distinct appearance within the AVANT lineup.

What separates the Mezz AVT-WLA/U from the Wavy 2 AVANT models is its United joint. That distinction matters when selecting a compatible shaft, so players should match the joint system to the shaft they intend to use. The AVANT is also sold as a butt-only cue, giving players the flexibility to choose their own shaft rather than being locked into a factory shaft configuration.

The AVANT’s Dual Loading System is another important part of the platform. Mezz designed the system so weight bolts can be installed in both the forearm and butt end, allowing weight and balance adjustments in 0.25 oz increments. The X-Bumper also allows compatible Mezz extensions to be fitted.
