AVT-24O/W2 (Wavy2)

Looking for a Mezz AVANT cue with a distinctive orange inlay design and adjustable setup? The Mezz AVT-24O/W2 is a Wavy 2 cue butt from Mezz’s AVT Series, featuring black composite wood with Juma, Orange Dragon Juma, and Paua shell inlays. The butt measures 29 inches, weighs approximately 15 oz, and uses an Irish linen grip with Mezz’s Wavy 2 joint and X-Bumper.

The key feature of the Mezz AVT-24O/W2 is the AVANT’s Dual Loading System. Mezz designed the AVANT to accept weight bolts in both the forearm and butt end, allowing players to adjust weight and balance in 0.25 oz increments. Eight different bolts can be used to fine-tune the setup, while the standard X-Bumper allows compatible Mezz extensions to be installed.

Another important point for players comparing Mezz pool cues is that the AVANT is sold as a butt-only model. This gives you the flexibility to select a compatible Mezz shaft based on the playing characteristics you prefer. The Wavy 2 joint also makes shaft compatibility an important consideration before building your setup.

The AVT-24O/W2 stands apart from the other AVANT designs through its Orange Dragon Juma and Paua shell detailing. It is also part of the playing setup of professional player Mykola Moroz, who uses the AVT-24O/W2 with a Mezz IGNITE 12.2 shaft.
